Sophie Marceau and Christophe Lambert in Mongolia



 
Sophie Marceau and her lover Christophe Lambert came to China from March 8 to March 12 to present their film "L'homme de chevet" directed by Alain Monne to the audience of the francophonie film festival. 
After a few days spent in Beijing doing interviews and press conferences, the couple was taken by Christine Pernin and Sophie Molinier, the festival organisators to launch the francophonie film festival in Ulan Bator.
The two French stars received a very warm welcome from the Mongolian audience who always enjoyed Sophie Marceau's french touch. The inhabitants of Ulan Bator were thrilled at the idea of their city holding a francophonie film festival even if this year only 5 films are going to be screen. It is only the beginning!
Sophie Marceau and Christophe Lambert came back to Beijing where "L'homme de chevet" was shown to the Chinese audience on Thursday night. The French actress was delighted to come once again in Beijing, her fans returning her the pleasure of seeing her again.
"L'homme de chevet" tales the story of the relationship between a paraplegic woman and a former boxer in the setting of Colombia and seduced the press as well as the audience.
The purpose of Sophie Marceau's venue was also to promote her new film "Don't look back" directed by Marina de Van which is going to be released in China this month.
Directors and actors are coming from all over the world to promote the francophonie cinema, the next in line are Férid Boughédir coming from Tunisia with his film "A Summer at la Goulette" and the Senegalese director Mansour Sora Wade with "The price of forgiveness".
